J.R. Parker’s practice focuses on
complex trial and appellate litigation in state and federal courts.
J.R. joined the firm as an associate
in 2004. J.R. received his A.B. degree from the University of
Georgia in 1999 and his J.D. from Harvard Law School in 2002. At law
school, J.R. was Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the Harvard Journal of
Law & Public Policy.
After law school, J.R. worked as a
clerk for the Hon. Joseph F. Anderson, Jr., Chief judge in the
United States District Court for the District of South Carolina.
J.R. is a member of the bar in South
Carolina, Georgia, and Alabama. Before working at Spotswood Sansom &
Sansbury LLC, J.R.
represented plaintiffs in business tort, product liability, wrongful
death, and catastrophic personal injury cases. J.R.’s practice at
Spotswood Sansom & Sansbury LLC has been focused upon complex commercial litigation,
class actions, and bankruptcy litigation, as well as catastrophic
personal injury and wrongful death, representing both plaintiffs and
defendants.
