We have represented clients in the U.S. Supreme Court, six of the eleven U.S. Courts of Appeal, and in state appellate courts across the country. In our home state of Alabama, Spotswood Sansom has been involved in virtually every high-profile, complex litigation matter in recent years. We filed the first insurance rescission case in the HealthSouth fraud, made the first allegations of corruption related to electronic bingo, and made the state-court Enron litigation part of the federal multi-district litigation. Currently, we represent clients in litigation related to the Jefferson County sewer crisis, the troubled Prepaid Affordable College Tuition (PACT) Program, and the takeover of Colonial Bank by the FDIC.
